Exhibit 56: Let Them

2026 · Visual Essay

Direction · Design · Animation

A visual essay inspired by a conversation between Oprah Winfrey and Mel Robbins about letting go of what lies beyond our control. The film transforms their dialogue into a surreal gallery journey about choosing how we respond.

Concept

The gallery acts as a metaphor for circumstances beyond our control. Moving through its changing spaces shifts the focus away from what happens around us and toward the response we choose for ourselves.

Visual Direction

Colorful, dreamlike environments translate abstract ideas of control and responsibility into a surreal visual journey. Filmed figures and hands were isolated through rotoscoping and integrated into the gallery to connect human presence with the imagined spaces.
