A 50-second title sequence inspired by Exit 8, integrating film credits into its repetitive subway environments and hidden anomalies.

Overview

Inspired by the film’s focus on observation, credits are embedded directly into the subway environment rather than placed over it. This invites viewers to search each scene for information and subtle inconsistencies.

The sequence was developed around the film’s repetitive subway journey, moving from station to train to underground corridor. I explored ways to integrate typography directly into the environment, using signage, advertisements, screens, arrows, and mirrored text as part of the visual system. Storyboards and style frames were then refined to keep the transitions continuous while introducing subtle anomalies throughout the sequence.
